Haiku Competition

As you bliss out this weekend indulging in vegan burgers, craft beer, or whatever end-of-week treats you fancy….it’s time to get creative for your chance to win a lifetime individual backstage pass to our community site!
For the musicians, writers, and other creatives reading this, or those of you who have never written a poem in your life, why not challenge yourself to craft a simple 3 line beauty.
If you’re new to Haiku, it is is a form of poetry that only uses three lines. The most well-known format is to have the first line with five syllables, the second line with seven syllables, and the third line with five again.
How to Enter:
Send us your vegan-themed Haiku by May 30th to comps@inveganswetrust.com with the subject line “Haiku.”
The winning Haiku will be announced in June 2021, and featured on our social channels, and receive a lifetime individual backstage pass to our community site!

Jared Leto, aka renowned Hollywood actor and front man/singer/song writer for the band Thirty Seconds to Mars has followed a vegan/vegetarian diet for over 2 decades. Leto has been on People magazine’s list of Most Beautiful People in the World twice (1996 &’97) and was voted PETA’s World’s Sexiest Vegetarian in 2014. Balancing being a musician and an actor since the 90’s, there seems to be no end to his talents.
